RISING sprinter Ben Hur will need to overcome box six if he’s to take out Thursday afternoon’s Maitland Business Houses Final over the 400 metres at Maitland.

Trained by George Borg, the son of Luca Neveelk was a huge 10-length heat winner at his Maitland debut last Thursday, stopping the clock in 22.50, just a whisker outside fastest qualifier Keno Jake in 22.48.

The flashy fawn chaser has had a near faultless start to his career for Borg, winning four of his seven outings, including another three placings.

Last Thursday was a very rewarding day of racing for Borg’s Berkshire Park kennels, with Whatta Rebel leading all-the-way at Dapto later in the evening at monster odds.
