THE impressive career of Gordette continues to grow after another impressive victory at Bendigo last Friday afternoon.

The daughter of Ice Trucker and Senorita Abbi handled the wide draw on the corner start over the 500-metre trip at Bendigo, beginning on terms before exploding away, eventually scoring by almost six lengths in 28.33 – her eighth win from 20 career starts.

The Adrian Kenyon-trained chaser had a breakthrough victory back in October, claiming the Geelong Oaks on Cup night in a fast 25.53, and backed that up with her full stakes victory on a metropolitan track, running 30.48 at The Meadows in early November.

Her sire Ice Trucker was a terrific short-course chaser and part of Norm and Janis Rinaldi’s American experiment, sending the imported Greys Lemon Ice to former No.1 sire Bombastic Shiraz back in 2010 for great results, including 27 wins for Gordette’s sire.

Big Future Awaits Tritt Tritt

YOUNGSTER Tritt Tritt backed up his impressive Meadows debut with a super victory at Bendigo last Friday afternoon.

The son of My Bro Fabio and Lainey Bale powered to a fast 27.96 win over the 500-metre trip, making it two from two for owner Matthew Sheahan and trainer Brooke Ennis.

On debut at The Meadows, the black chaser flew home in 12.14 to score impressively and he looks to be part of a very handy litter.

Ennis’ day got better after the brilliant Judicial Man recorded a sizzling 23.56 in the Free For All at Bendigo, bringing up his 25th win from just 41 starts.
