Many will want a slice of SLOWLANE SANDY (trap 6) in this contest and, given the laws of demand and supply, her odds are likely to be on the short side. Diegos Bella (trap 5) should be involved in the finish and is a leading contender. Thunderbridge (trap 4) is clearly one to keep an eye on.

HEAD TO TOWN (trap 2) is a standout bet and shouldn't let any of his followers down. This is a very winnable contest and one in which he looks much the best. Run On King (trap 1) looks the obvious threat although he will need to tread carefully through the early going. Johns George (trap 5) gets a drop in class and is no back number.

SMOOTH AS SATIN (trap 2) has more scope than most so is worth noting in the market. If the money comes, it could be wise to join in. Punters will note the recent win of Run Rachel (trap 6) and respect. Snodland Sniper (trap 4) is in line for a medal, but it could just be the bronze this time.

After plenty of deliberation, pound-for-pound BALLYMAC NEMO (trap 5) looks the one to row in with as he could exploit the openings when it matters. There's invariably plenty of interest in Kereight Cross (trap 1) and he has a big chance. Fans of Zari Betty (trap 4) will be expecting plenty but they may be mildly disappointed.

STOPHERS WOTSIT (trap 3) should be in there pitching as the race unfolds and there's got to be every chance that he scrambles across the line in front. Glasheen Gold (trap 5) is a popular runner who should keep the selection honest for the entire race. Hollyoak Stormzy (trap 2) can be involved when it comes to the crunch and isn't without hope.

The layers aren't expected to be flamboyant with their chalk, but that's because KARLOW VIC (trap 1) looks much the best in this field. Perfecto Ela (trap 4) is a confirmed fuel-guzzler, who should lead but may not stay there. Hollyoak Winnie (trap 2) may not figure highly in the market pecking order, but is not out of it.

BIRCHGROVE BUDDY (trap 2) has gone into the notebook and this looks the type of contest in which he should have things under control when it matters. Drive Me Nuts (trap 4) has a shout timewise and should certainly be amongst the medals. Fahoura Lad (trap 5) may be the subject of market attention and can show up well throughout.

ROSS PANAMA (trap 5) has the credentials to be involved at the nitty gritty end of proceedings and is taken to be the first to break the tape. Bandit Robin (trap 6) was in a winning frame of mind recently and should give another bold showing. Galaxy On Fire (trap 2) looks best of the others and can fill the tricast spot.

BROADWAY ROSE (trap 1) has the talent to be a physical force against these and she is fancied to have matters in hand as she greets the judge. Annies Boy (trap 4) has a serious part to play if avoiding trouble and is a leading contender. Wastehouse Kris (trap 2) will be better for more experience round here.

KING IGGY (trap 5) looks to hold sound credentials in this line-up and should be there or thereabouts at the business end. Mohawk Spirit (trap 2) is often backed blind and his supporters are entitled to expect a bold showing. Tintreach Guns (trap 1) has a chance and will probably be popular in the ring once more.

This can be whittled down to a few, with the vote ultimately going the way of KYERO GIRL (trap 5) as she can be bossing things when it matters. The task facing Queen Shania (trap 2) isn't that daunting, so she should make a real fist of it. Ballybrack Buzz (trap 4) would have a chance if keeping tabs on these early.

For those punters that like getting stuck into a short one, TRUMPERS SHREQ (trap 5) could prove irresistible in this contest as he does look the part. Micks Best (trap 4) is probably the one to catch if starting brightly. Boomerang Blaze (trap 6) has a chance but may ultimately come up a trifle short.
