SLING YOUR HOOK (trap 4) will be very hard to beat against these rivals and should only need nominal good fortune to leave these opponents toiling. It's all a bit of a learning curve so far as Harrys Pepper (trap 6) is concerned, but her trials suggest a bold showing. Mollys Aoibhe (trap 1) has been making a few waves on the trial track and isn't without hope.

The gold medal is very much up for grabs here and FAIRY SPELL (trap 4) could well be the one that bags the main prize as she does have a good profile. Darver Castle (trap 3) hasn't had many races here, so the market may give a fair steer. Lady Darwin (trap 2) is no regular here yet but she has place claims.

The qualifying trials of NORDEN LIGHTS (trap 6) have been most pleasing and he could get his nose in front against these at the first time of asking. Foxrock Dot (trap 2) looks the main danger and there could be a few quid coming her way from the punters. Providing he avoids a bump or two early, Panda Jack (trap 4) can make the frame.

Supporters of SLICER (trap 4) will be hoping he turns up with his A-game as this contest is very much for the taking if he does so. A meaningful contribution can be expected from Tahina Snow (trap 2), who can keep the selection busy. If the three-box works wonders for Fridays Style (trap 3), they'll have a say in the outcome.

CROAGH PATRICK (trap 1) overcame trouble to get the job done last time out and there was plenty to like about the win. On that run, he is value to follow up. Rileys Daughter (trap 6) is still settling into things around here but is feared nonetheless. Beretta Shelton (trap 2) has the ability to throw down the gauntlet to a few of these.

This should be all plain-sailing for FRIDAYS ISABEL (trap 6) and she can leave her rivals in the choppy waters while she enjoys the luxury of the calmer seas to prevail. This is within the compass of Southside Magic (trap 2), who shouldn't go shirking the issue. Toms Sydney (trap 3) has scant experience of this venue so expect more today.

MACS REBEL (trap 6) is fully expected to oblige in a race of this nature and should just need a slice of good fortune to bring home the goods. There's enough durability surrounding Rustys Councel (trap 2), suggesting he won't quit easily under pressure. Robertstown Dave (trap 5) appears to have been set a manageable task on his debut and could get involved.

FRIDAYS SCARLET (trap 6) should be in there pitching as the race begins in earnest and she is fancied to head the formation crossing the wire. Buttercup Bea (trap 1) is in with a big shout under these conditions and can certainly keep the selection honest. Around The Bay (trap 2) could have an influence on the outcome if avoiding the hotspots.
