BOMBAY FLASH (trap 3) can be expected to be in the front rank charging to the judge and her supporters will be hopeful she can be in front when it matters. Jeopardy Diva (trap 1) looks one of the leading prospects and can keep the selection busy. It's hard to knock the recent win of Macchiato (trap 5) and he isn't out of this either.

SPRINGHILL BERYL (trap 3) is pretty much on fire at the moment and may not be extinguished by any of these rivals today. Yahoo Anna (trap 5) is all guns blazing into the corner and will have to be caught if leading round. Ravestock Mason (trap 6) has a fair opening and should be there or thereabouts.

MANOBO (trap 3) knows what's required as his recent victory proves and they'll be plenty firmly in the camp that expect another winning run. There's no real reason why Zoos Zuma (trap 6) shouldn't run well and keep the selection true. Underground Duke (trap 2) needs to make his intentions known early.

RAVESTOCK BUCK (trap 1) will be champing at the bit to get down to business and is unlikely to come up short if taking charge of these early. The form of Novella (trap 3) stands up well and she shouldn't be far away when it matters. Slow Paws (trap 5) has a chance of making the numbers so should be included.

DUDE (trap 6) doesn't represent a 'get rich quick' opportunity given the expected odds, but as far as the likely winner of this, look no further. Zippady Doo Dah (trap 4) has leading claims and it will be disappointing if he doesn't figure at some stage. Lens And Pens (trap 5) should be in there hunting for the tricast money.

BACK TO FRONT (trap 1) will probably be put in short by the bookies and, such is her chance in this contest, she is unlikely to get much bigger in price. The smell of success is still in the air so far as chief danger Da Young Lad (trap 5) is concerned. Pep Power (trap 4) has a fair early spurt and should be there or thereabouts.

BUBBLY BOLERO (trap 6) has less to do and the drop in class is fancied to trigger a stampede in the market place and on the track. It's not difficult being overly bullish about the chances of LAST DANCE MOLLY (trap 5), but she does smack of a 'good thing' in this line-up and could win as she pleases. My Vision (trap 6) is committed to blazing a trail quickly and could set the target for them all to aim at. Pretty Boy Roy (trap 3) gets an easier opening but may still need things to happen.

JEOPARDY DELTA (trap 4) will be looking to show these who's the boss and he has the form in the book to suggest he is indeed the one to beat. Garrys Lil Star (trap 3) has medal possibilities if things go to plan but she may just find the selection too good. Bubbly Apollo (trap 2) has a shout if flashing out from the boxes in front.
