Two promising sprinters do battle here in a much watch race with ASTON NELSON (4) and LOGISTICAL (7) bot capable of running under the 29.40 seconds barrier. STAR STATUS (8) can fill third spot.

NOSEY BLUEY (8) handled this exact draw with an emphatic 29.71 win here back in January and he has the required speed to lead throughout. WINCKIE BALE (2) is suited to an inside draw and can make a mid race move.

SPRING COIN (5) accounted for a much stronger field than this in winning here in a swift 29.45 two starts back and has the speed to lead throughout. NANCY DEVERE (4) has a top mid race engine and is rarely far away in her races.

With MEPUNGA ROCKY (1) who likes to move out wide in his races and SHARNI'S SECRET (4) likely to keep the outside division out early, this can allow PAW QWAN (2) to utilise his brilliant railing abilities, adopt a stalking role and prove too strong.

SPEEDY EASY (6) comes here for the first time following some brilliant bush form and she is expected to set a cracking speed out in front. SLAY QUEEN MOLLY (2) is racing with confidence and should be on the speed. MAVIS TOLMIE (8) has claims.

FADE TO BLACK (2) is a serious prospect who can either lead or come off the speed to win in this company. WARM HUGS (4) beat a strong line up in good time here two starts back and just needs some luck going into he first bend.

CANYA DIVERSION (4) has posted some slick wins in his relatively short career and looks suited to this distance. MEPUNGA INFRARED (8) is the class runner and he can make a bold challenge mid-race. MONEY PALACE (2) rarely runs a bad race.

WREN BALE (2) is racing in career best form and can really put the paw to the floor through the middle section of this race. MINTER FROST (5) remarkably at veteran age came within two lengths of the Sale 510m track record last start.

YAMANU BALE (1) boasts the strongest run home times in this race and from the gun draw should be able to settle in a race winning position. MINH TEDDY (2) recorded his fast 29.50 PB here off this draw and can be on the speed from the outset.

Trainer Danny Cortese has his charges racing well at the moment training a recent treble. Can continue his good run here with the speedy BIG DUKE (4) who looks suited to a race of this calibre. MISS DAICOS (1) can set a cracking speed early.
