Teddy Thomas (trap 6) may not have crystal clear claims but he could be a value alternative. There's is invariably plenty of interest in Slippy Dottie (trap 4) and she has a shout.

There's few better bets today than ASK THE DOCTOR (trap 1) in this contest and he can get the job done with the minimum of fuss and oblige in a hack canter. Kanturk Joke (trap 5) tends to make plenty of noise in this grade and should prove a threat. Milldean Topaz (trap 2) has a shout on the clock, whereas the others don't appear to.

With good reason the shrewd judges will be sniffing around SIX FOOT PUTT (trap 3) as she seems to hold an ability superiority over the rest of the field. The money is quite often down on Corbrack Amigo (trap 2), who looks the biggest danger. Blackstone Regal (trap 5) would come into the equation if making an early strike for home.

SILK CUT LOCO (trap 4) has the weaponry to be in contention when push comes to shove and she is fancied to come out on top. The judge recently called the name of Zesty Lemon (trap 2) as the winner and he may do so here too. Saffron Mick (trap 3) possesses a nice surge of pace on the run-up.

It will be something of a let down if DEACON KISSY (trap 3) isn't highly competitive when it matters and, in fact, she gets the nod to oblige. We Never Stop (trap 4) can quickly head the formation but may succumb to the selection when it matters. Allowdale Canny (trap 5) could be the fly in the ointment as he has plenty of scope for improvement.

CHOCTAW MUSA (trap 5) looks pretty good in this line-up. With an uninterrupted passage around the early bends, she can be first to break the tape. Tried and trusted winner Noirs Story (trap 1) has to be a threat. Emilys Lily (trap 2) could be in the mix now she is faced with an easier task.

Everything points to a big run from HONEST AND FRANK (trap 4) as she can be expected to beat these if things open up in the contest when she needs them to. Bay City Phoenix (trap 5) should be on the premises when push comes to shove. On the downgrade, Weluvthisgame (trap 2) comes into the equation.

HOLLYWELL SYDNEY (trap 6) will be looking to employ smash 'n' grab tactics as they could well prove fruitful in this field. Clagnagh Izzy (trap 1) is running her cotton socks off and won't be shy in this field. Bishopsgate (trap 2) could throw a spanner in the works if granted a clear run.

It should be all to play for so far as WILLSEANRUN (trap 6) is concerned as he should be in position to strike as they power through half way. The recent success of Jackie Chaperal (trap 2) is noted and another solid effort is expected. Recent winner Townsend Tyler (trap 1) knows the score and shouldn't be underestimated.

FOOTFIELD WOOLY (trap 3) can be expected to take the chequered flag first in this contest providing she doesn't get in a pickle early doors. Tarsna Tipp (trap 6) is performing with plenty of spirit and has to be on the shortlist. There's usually money around for Emers Macie (trap 1), who shouldn't be disgraced.

The path to success for LADY OF RIVENDEL (trap 5) could be a smooth one today, especially if she becomes engaged the moment the lids ping open. If it's all systems go for Malbay Billie (trap 4) from the off, she would make the selection pull out all the stops. The bookies tend to chalk up Autumn Fable (trap 3) tentatively for a reason.
