Sweet It Is Heads To Aston Dee Bee

Breeding world stop and take note...CHAMPION race bitch and now proven producer Sweet It Is is among the first bitches to be mated by recently retired Aston Dee Bee

CHAMPION race bitch and now proven producer Sweet It Is is among the first bitches to be mated by recently retired Aston Dee Bee.

Aston Dee Bee's owner Ray Borda announced the mating today.

Sweet It Is (Mogambo-Off Springer) raced 67 times for 25 wins and 22 placings earning $962,000 from her multiple Group 1 victories.

At stud she has produced two litters to the racetrack, by Turanza Bale and KC And All.

The Turanza Bale litter is headed by Group finalist Aston It Is, while hugely promising youngster Aston Kimetto (9 starts, 5 wins, $36,000) is the emerging star of the KC And All litter.

Aston Kimetto recently won the Group 3 Warragul St Leger coming from last.

While the Aston Dee Bee mating might appear to have just a 4×3 cross of litter brothers Hallucinate and Where's Pedro as its only line breeding, that is far from the case.

There is much line breeding to be found back in the pedigree to the famous sisters Zulu Moss and Riviera Moss.

Aston Dee Bee retired to stud with Jason and Seona Thompson after 65 race starts which resulted in 35 wins and 16 placings for $798,000 in stakes. He won the G1 Melbourne Cup and was a multiple track record breaker … ideal credentials for stud success.

It is reported he is hugely popular with breeders.
