AFTER a super 29.41 win at The Meadows on Saturday night, Correy Grenfell is confident classy Vincent Bale will shine in Albion Park's Group 1 Gold Bullion (520m) the series starting on Thursday night.
The time at The Meadows at the weekend was the third fastest in the history of the track.
"He is as good as any dog we have trained," said Correy of the son of Christo Bale-Helga Bale.

"But, he is also a dumb race dog.
"It has taken him 40 starts to learn to navigate through a field.
"And it was only recently that he did that and since then he has turned into a smart race dog."
Vincent Bale is already the winner of the Group 2 Cranbourne Cup and has been second a G3 Silver Bullet, third in the G1 Maturity and a finalist in the G2 Warragul Cup, G3 Sandown Shootout, Ballarat Derby and Cup Night Sprint.
In 41 starts, he has won 17 times and earned $146,000.
Considering the Grenfell kennel has prepared such stars as Tiggerlong Tonk, Orson Allen, Yozo Bale and Dyna Chancer, Correy's claim that Vincent Bale is "up there with the best of them", is the highest of praise.
Of the trip to Albion Park for the first time, Correy is confident he will handle the new track.
"Obviously he is going to be improved with the run on the track for the final if he gets through," he said.
Orli Bale, winner of 17 races and $145,000, will also head to Queensland.
