Brockie's Boys Get Tick Of Approval From Wheeler

WHEELER Kennels has thrown their weight behind sons of Zambora Brockie, Amron Boy and Plaintiff, and Brendan Wheeler is raving about the litters they have by both dogs.
"The Amron Boy litters we have are the favourites of everyone at the farm even though they are only young," Wheeler said.
"And we are just about to send the first of the Plaintiff pups we have educated to Melbourne and we are really wrapped in them. Great signs."
Group 1 star Zambora Brockie's stud career took ages to get off the ground, and when breeders finally realised his greatness the dog was almost finished.
Despite that, the son of Nitro Burst-Flying Liddy still sired the winners of $24 million and counting.
Amron Boy and Plaintiff are both by Zambora Brockie and out of daughters of Fernando Bale.
Amron Boy (Zambora Brockie-Miami Fernando) was easily his best with 23 wins and $674,000 in stakes.

Plaintiff (Zambora Brockie-Appointed), a Melbourne Cup runner-up, won 19 races and $276,000 but broke down and was forced into retirement prematurely .
Wheeler has litters from Thybullue Bale and Fortuna Bale by Amron Boy.
"I sent those two bitches to him because Amron Boy was a phenomenal chaser, a tenacious chaser," Wheeler added.
"He reminds me a lot of Feral Franky.
"The pups by him are great types, no nervousness, great doers, and they are the favourites of everyone on the property.
"As a litter they stand out, and we have between 300 and 400 dogs on the property.
"Fingers crossed for them."
Of the Plaintiff progeny at Wheeler Kennels, Brendan says he has already educated a litter from proven Group 1 producer Sammy Allen.
"Corey Grenfell is coming up to the farm soon to get them," Wheeler added.
"We are absolutely wrapped in the litter being educated. The early signs are very good."
Wheeler also has a litter by Plaintiff-Fortuna Bale.

"I will wait and see how those litters go on the track before committing to using them again, as is our usual thought," he added.
Wheeler has already mated a couple of bitches to both Explicit and Hector Fawley.
"We had good success with their sire Bernardo so his sons should suit us again," he said.
"Hector Fawley's lines are interesting for us."
Wheeler said the kennels have 50 broodbitches on the property, 10 of those by Feral Franky.
"I am restricting all my broodbitches for use to only those that have won further than 500 metres," he said. "The Feral Franky bitches always have so much strength."
Wheeler also has used the great Tiggerlong Tonk (Dyna Double One-Tiggerlong Dot) the grand Group 1 campaigner.
"They are nice dogs, very typical of the Barcia Bale sireline, nice sized dogs and those we have are starting to show good ability," he said.
