BRUCE Timbs admits his classy galloper Brunswick Flyer will be in need of the race when he resumes at Albion Park on Thursday night.

BRUCE Timbs admits his classy galloper Brunswick Flyer will be in need of the hitout when he resumes from an injury-enforced spell in an Albion Park 520m 5th Grade on Thursday night.
Brunswick Flyer (Zambora Brockie-Tauwitchere) has not raced since finishing second over 600m at Albion Park back on November 11 last year.
He has raced 16 times for eight wins and seven placings earning $43,000 but was on the verge of stepping out to 700m racing.
He has been tipped by many to become a staying star.
FIELDS AND FORM ALBION PARK THURSDAY NIGHT
"He hurt a wrist, an elbow and a shoulder," Timbs said.
"He trialled a bit disappointing in a post to post at Albion Park recently, but he needs match fitness and I'm thinking he has become real dour as he gets older."
Brunswick Flyer has been the subject of a number of offers to buy him, but Bruce made it very clear from the outset the dog was never for sale.
He bought the dog as a pup from South Australian breeder Kirin Corby, the dam being a high class race bitch for Kirin when trained by Steve White in Victoria.

"I've just bought a couple of the mother's next litter, by Aussie Infrared," he added.
A now retired painter, Bruce is giving greyhound racing a decent attempt, recently building a new kennel block "gearing up for The Q".
"I was in dogs many years ago but it got too tough in those days when we were racing for a toothpick," he said.
"But, these days the prizemoney in Queensland is great.
"I will be nervous for this dog's return to racing.
"At the moment, my kennel is going through a bit of a rough patch, but we all have those times.
"I'm not asking too much from the dog on Thursday night.
"He is notorious for flopping out of the boxes and having to come from last. The only time he jumped he won at Albion Park in 34.73 and that's pretty good."
