Here we are two decades later and Steve is still reaping the rewards of the Paua To Burn legacy.
Among those is Paua Of Buddy (Aston Dee Bee-Paua To Admit by Fabregas), he of the track record breaking speed and Group winning class.

Hall of Famer Paua To Burn sits proudly as his third mother.
Paua Of Buddy is being given his chance at stud because Steve White, and the dog's owner and breeder David Jones, know just how fast he could run. From 34 starts he won 17 and was placed in 12 others earning $147,000.
His ability was on show from the moment he made his debut in a maiden at Warragul back in August 2021 when he won by seven lengths in 25.54 easily the best of the day.
He eventually went on to run a 21.98 track record at Warragul, then won the G2 Bendigo Cup.
He was second in the G1 Hobart 1000, always a great dog's race, was third in the rich Southern Stars at Goulburn, and The Arrow up the Healesville straight.
In his heat win of the Southern Stars series at Wagga, he smashed the track record running a remarkable 22.28s.
He went to town to win at Sandown but his forte was always sheer speed races to any level and that's where he excelled.
Paua Of Buddy is bred to be the star he is.
He is by G1 Melbourne Cup winner and great sire, Aston Dee Bee, sire of such greats as She's A Pearl, Vice Grip, Photo Man, Untapped, Typhoon Sammy … the list is virtually endless.
Paua Of Buddy's dam, Paua To Admit (Fabregas-Paua To Terrify by Spiral Nikita), produced a quality litter when mated to Aston Dee Bee.
It also included Paua Of Janie (13 wins, $47,000, 2nd G2 Traralgon Cup) and Paua Of Mindy (6 wins, $26,000) etc.
The mating was fabulous, bringing in a 2×1 of Aston Elle and Paua To Admit who are bred along very similar lines both having Bombastic Shiraz in their sireline, and also strongly reinforcing the Mad Midge family a famous damline from which both Aston Dee Bee and Awesome Assassin come.
Paua Of Buddy's dam, Paua To Admit, has been a very, very good producer.
She is also the dam of Paua Of Oscar (22 wins, $67,000, EQ TR Warragul, 3rd G3 Healesville Cup, finalist G3 Provincial Plate), Select Moment (10 wins, $48,000), Paua Of Silence (12 wins, $38,000) etc.
Of course this is the direct damline of Paua To Burn she of the G1 Golden Easter Egg, twice winner of the G1 Sapphire Crown, winner of the G1 Laurels and the then G3 Temlee (now G1).
It is a famous, famous damline that also includes such current day stars as Feral Franky and Good Odds Harada through Paua To Burn's half sister Chili Berger.
Paua Of Buddy had speed to burn. His racetrack performances prove just that.
He also has a dominant pedigree that can help make him a great stud success.
That will almost certainly come from daughters of Fernando Bale. They are an absolute MUST for Paua Of Buddy.

Because Paua Of Buddy is a grandson of Barcia Bale, a son of Aston Dee Bee and has Fabregas as his damsire.
ALL of them have worked to G1 level when linked with Fernando Bale.

And, we are already seeing very close line breeding to the Chili Berger family (check out Tania Keeping and Superman Keeping) working, and with that in mind, daughters of both Feral Franky and Good Odds Harada can certainly be crossed with Paua Of Buddy.
Daughters of My Bro Fabio, too, will suit a mating to Paua Of Buddy because Buddy's dam has been mated to him to produce classy Paua Of Oscar.
And, she has also done very well when mated to Sennachie, so daughters of that great Steve White champ will suit as well.
The cross of Larkhill Jo in Fabregas allows for a proven link with his half brother Sonic Flight and this can be picked up through Bekim Bale and also Allen Deed.
Fabregas sired champ Dundee Osprey when Larkhill Jo was doubled via Droopys Kewell. This can be picked up through Taylors Sky and also the famous half brothers Hooked On Scotch and Out Of Range.
Bitches by that latter pair will certainly help Paua Of Buddy succeed.
The cross of Spiral Nikita in Paua Of Buddy's direct damline also allows for a proven link to Brett Lee (found in Oaks Road and Magic Sprite).
This can come via Cosmic Rumble to provide a great duplication of Spiral Nikita.
Bitches with Collision and of course Where's Pedro (there is none in Buddy) will be greatly suited as well.
Paua Of Buddy certainly has all the right credentials for stud success.
