Early markets have Devil's Corner rated a $4 chance behind rock-solid favourite Sacred Shadow at $1.65 from box four.

"If the favourite (Sacred Shadow) misses it away it's definitely race on," declared Bullock in the lead up to tonight's card.

"The red box tonight is Devil's Corner's first decent draw for a while and Sacred Shadow can miss it away at times, if she does then my dog comes right into it the way they are drawn.

"If the favourite leads we can't beat her. Hartley Kris in the checks does get wide as well so he should give my dog a good run early.

“I've got four of the seven in the race and after the red I'd say Definite Signs is a good chance of running a place as well."

Devil's Corner goes into tonight's race as the winner at 10 of his 39 starts with another 19 placings.

At Launceston he's raced on 14 occasions for five wins and six placings and steps up to the 600 metre journey for the first time tonight.

Sacred Shadow boasts two seconds from six Launceston 600 metre outings but plummets in class for tonight's engagement.

Recently the daughter of My Bro Fabio has been racing chasers the ilk of Hello Rhonda, Raging Ralston, Stop Line and Atley Quick.

With the Group 2 Launceston Cup fast approaching, tonight's card has produced a terrific invitation race which sees the mouthwatering clash between Raging Ralston and Hello Rhonda.

Scheduled as race seven on the program, Raging Ralston exits box two for Ted Medhurst, fresh off last week's scintillating 29.49 victory.

Hello Rhonda, winner of the Launceston Cup earlier in the year for trainer Robin Grubb, returns to her favourite stomping ground where she boasts 11 wins from 16 outings.

It promises to be a terrific spectacle.
