Chloe Ant Hits Peak Form For Summer Chase
CHLOE Ant has hit peak form at the back end of her career and she can continue her streak when she contests the Summer Chase on Saturday night.

CHLOE Ant has hit peak form at the back end of her career and the veteran stayer can continue her hot streak when she contests the final of the Summer Chase (601m) at Cannington on Saturday night.
That's according to Graham Crudeli, who prepares the greyhound alongside his father Enzo, for the ‘Team Crudeli' kennel.
Chloe Ant racked up her fifth straight victory and eighth win from her past ten starts when she claimed her heat last weekend.
FIELDS AND FORM CANNINGTON SATURDAY NIGHT
After finding the front with her customary early pace, Chloe Ant held off a strong challenge from Iron Works to score by three quarters of a length in 34.62.
Chloe Ant will jump from box four in the trophy decider.
To maintain her picket fence she'll need to overcome a competitive field, which includes the exciting Bezzecchi.
Bezzecchi recovered from a moderate start to power past Miss Ronnie Mac and clock the fastest qualifying time of 34.53 during his heat.
While Bezzecchi looms large in the race, and will likely vie for favouritism, Crudeli is happy to make the case for his chaser.

"It's a really good field, not just Bezzecchi, there's a few dogs in there that can run anything," he said.
"(Chloe Ant is) in peak form at the moment and she's a good show this weekend.
"She's got the box manners early, the only downfall with her is she does have a little bit of a flat spot down the back and then she'll come again.
"Getting to the lead is not a given because she's got Miss Ronnie Mac (box three) on her inside but if she can get around that dog she'll be well on her way.
"Hopefully she gets clear and puts enough distance between herself and the others.
"If she's in front into the home straight I think she's good enough to hold anything off."
From fairly humble beginnings, Chloe Ant has developed into the most consistent stayer in the state.
"Early on she was just a second stringer but she's just kept getting better as she's gotten older," Crudeli said.
"She had a great year in 2024, she made every final and placed in pretty much every one of them.
"She was third in the Galaxy and won the Gr 3 Miata and then the Christmas Gift a few weeks ago.
"It's been a great ride but she's not getting any younger, she's coming up on four next month.”
