Deuce Now Running On Emerging Stud Career

SUPERSTAR Jungle Deuce has joined the emerging ranks of young stud dogs to start their new career successfully.

His first two race starters are already winners.

Jungle Blast (Jungle Deuce-Ruby Herrera) won on debut at Dapto for Danny Mason.

Then, Handbrake's Off (Jungle Deuce-Nangar Freedom), followed up his second in a Bulli maiden heat when winning the final on Tuesday leading throughout for trainer Tess Simmons.

For Jungle Deuce's connections, Clay Mawson and Brian Jaggers, it was a welcome successful start for their great race dog.

“Two wins and a good second, when he was a bit stiff not to have won, from three starts is a pretty nice start for Jungle Deuce,” said Clay Mawson.

“Yes, it is early days but we have confidence in our dog.

“Every stud dog needs a good start to their career and two wins from three starts is a happy result so far for Jungle Deuce.”

Jungle Deuce, a Barcia Bale-Serena Fly High half-brother to boom young stud dog Tommy Shelby, was a superstar himself.

He ran a Dubbo track record, won the G1 Paws of Thunder, G1 Gold Bullion, G2 Flying Amy Classic, G3 Golden Sands, the G3 New Sensation, Dubbo Cup, Origin Match Race and was a finalist in the G1 Topgun, G1 Rookie Rebel and The Phoenix.

And, Handbrake's Off is out of a daughter of Fernando Bale … to continue the proven cross found in the best early progeny sired by Tommy Shelby.
