THE Meadows is gearing up for a huge program of greyhound racing this Saturday night, headlined by the running of the $150,000 to-the-winner Group 1 Topgun (525m).

Long been tagged as the “Cox Plate of greyhound racing”, given its invitation only status, Saturday night’s Topgun brings together the country’s top eight ranked sprinters, including Australia’s most popular greyhound, Feral Franky.

Building a huge fan base on the back of his tantalizing racing performances and quirky race name, Feral Franky, or ‘The Feral’ as he’s more affectionately known, will have a huge following when he steps out in Saturday night’s Topgun from box five for trainer Jack Smith.

And The Meadows are getting right behind Feral Franky’s appearance in Saturday night’s Topgun, selling FERAL Brewing Co. beer on the deck at discounted prices if the fan favourite can run a place in the group 1 showpiece.

If Feral Franky lands the Topgun, beers will be sold for just $1, while a second place finish will set you back only $2. If the 21-race winner runs third, beers will be $3. The offer will continue until the start of the race following the Topgun.

As well as this great promotion for racegoers, the cost of FERAL Brewing co. schooners will be $5, and pots $4, all night.
