Dual Group Winner Ready For Big Breeding Season

IT'S almost a year to the day that Incapacitated bowed out from racing following a career that netted two group wins, 24 overall victories and $152,910 in prizemoney.

Just last week, former smart racer Fire Fly Charlee joined Blitzing Lass, Lethal Swiper, Hampshire and Wyndsor Rose as bitches to be served by the Richmond Derby hero since his foray into stud scene earlier this year.

"His oldest pups are just about six months old and they are magnificent types," said Justin King, who guided the star son of Sh Avatar during his racing career.

INCAPACITATED AT STUD

"We are really hoping that coming into the breeding season he can attract a few bitches and really give himself a chance to make a name at stud. It's pretty cutthroat the stud business but I'm really confident about what he offers.

"Not only is he really well bred but he was the perfect race dog in that he had it at both ends.

WHY INCAPACITATED CAN MAKE AN IMPACT AT STUD

"And just a sensational chaser. His pups are only very young but they are already giving the impression at home they'd chase just about anything."

Winner of the Richmond Derby on the old track in a sizzling 30.44 and victorious in the Group 3 Christmas Gift at Wentworth Park in a rampaging 29.66, Incapacitated ran searing time everywhere he left.

Laid bare in his durability the capacity to run 22.20 at Maitland over 400 metres while also post near record times over the 600 metre journey.

Arguably his grandest performance was finishing second to Wow in last year's Group 2 Gosford Gold Cup.

Along with those epic performances he was a finalist in Group 1s like the Paws Of Thunder and Rookie Rebel, as well as the Group 3 Origin Sprint and the Dapto Middle Distance Championship.

His body of work across a stellar racing career setting up his chance at stud.
