Flynn's New Kennel For Million Dollar Chase

STAR Victorian sprinter Flynn will join Jason Mackay's Richmond Vale kennels in the next week or two in preparation for the upcoming TAB Million Dollar Chase.

Winner at eight of his 16 starts for Harry Manolitsis, the hugely talented son of Kinloch Brae will join kennelmate Get It Gizmo in making their way to Mackay's kennels, readying for an assault on the $1 million to-the-winner series which commences with qualifiers at Gunnedah in just on a fortnight's time.

"Harry Manolitsis gave me a call last week and said Flynn and Get It Gizmo will be coming up here for the Million Dollar Chase and any other NSW races they might target," Mackay said on Tuesday.

"Harry said he can't be travelling back and forth and wants to give the dogs the best opportunity so he's sending them up and we'll see how we go."

Last seen when finishing midfield in June's Winter Cup heats at Cranbourne, Flynn, currently a $41.00 chance with TAB for the Million Dollar Chase, is only early in his preparation for a racetrack return.

"Harry's been ironing out a few injury issues with him and he's just back trialling now," said Mackay of the Group 3 Bill Collins Speed Star winner.

"Harry's giving him a 400 trial to see where he's at and we'll go from there … but I'd expect he'll be up here next week at some stage."

As reported, Flynn will be joined by Get It Gizmo in his trip north, the exceptionally talented youngster a last start third in Saturday's Group 3 Warragul St Leger Final (460m) behind Mepunga Daniel.

Winner at five of his 11 starts, Get It Gizmo, a son of Kinloch Brae and Dasha, has recorded some blinding times in his brief to career, including a sizzling 25.61 at Warragul.
