WHEN Got No Goggles lines up at Casino on Thursday afternoon for a 0-1 Win series (484m), it will be with the greatest relief of much of the township of Casino that she is even there.
Got No Goggles (Aston Rupee-Magic Liar) is making a comeback to the racetrack after going missing for five days a couple of weeks ago, and trainer Allan Lang admits he is surprised she was even found.
Allan headed to the straight track that runs along one side of the Casino golf course to give Got No Goggles a gallop only a few days after she had won her maiden at Casino on September 5.
Got No Goggles was entered for another Casino race the following Thursday.

On arrival at the straight track, the bitch spotted a youngster on a push bike racing past, got away and chased the bike.
"She got onto the golf course and a few golfers in motorised carts gave chase trying to catch her," Allan said.
That really spooked her and Got No Goggles was gone … missing for five days.
A Facebook campaign was started, the golf club workers kept a constant eye out for her, and greyhound participants went in search of her every day.
"Jamie Hancock was out there until midnight one night looking for her," Allan added.
Allan employed a drone in the search, one that can pick up body heat.
"We thought we had her found one day," he said.
"Then we organised for the guy with the drone to come out the next day again.
"He was just getting ready to put the drone in the air when, all of a sudden, she just walked into someone's home at the far end of the golf course and the woman in the house contacted us."
A 25.9kg bitch, Got No Goggles had lost 1.5kgs in the five days she was missing but she had suffered only a few cuts to her feet.
"It was lucky that there was plenty of water available to her on the golf course," Allan said.
"But, it was a long time to be missing.
"She still had the collar and lead and muzzle on her."
Got No Goggles has drawn box eight at Casino on Thursday afternoon and goes into the race as a last-start winner but having overcome more than her five rivals put together.
