GRNSW Announce Prizemoney Increases

GREYHOUND Racing NSW (GRNSW) Chief Executive Officer Tony Mestrov today announced the first stage of prizemoney increases as a boost to participants all across the State.

GREYHOUND Racing NSW (GRNSW) Chief Executive Officer Tony Mestrov today announced the first stage of prizemoney increases as a boost to participants all across the State.

To begin with, all "C" class race meetings, the majority of which are conducted at regional NSW tracks, will see major prizemoney increases, including up to 46.5% for maidens.

"This is an important first step to lifting prizemoney levels, especially for our country trainers in NSW who race their greyhounds at venues as such as Bathurst, Dubbo, Wagga and the many other vibrant regional greyhound centres in the State," Mr Mestrov said.

"GRNSW has made a decision to start the prizemoney boost with "C" class race meetings – which also include some fixtures at our bigger venues – but I'm pleased to say more announcements will follow in due course about other classes of meetings all over NSW."

The increases to prizemoney for "C" class race meetings, across all grades and distances, are effective from Monday, March 18 2019 and detailed below in the following table.
