Group 1 Producer Whelps Six Pups

A blue-blooded Group 1 producer has whelped six healthy puppies to former champion, track record breaking chaser Aston Rupee.

Top broodbitch Winxette last week whelped six healthy pups to exciting sire prospect Aston Rupee.

Winxette, a daughter of the Swift Fancy x She's All Class mating is a half-sister to champion sprinter Wow.

The white and brindle bitch hit the jackpot in her first litter, producing Group 1 National Futurity winner Wyndra All Class and Maitland Gold Cup winner Len Me Dad.

Her second litter, by Superior Panama, are yet to hit the track but early reports suggest they can gallop.

Winxette's owner Nathan Summers said he is delighted with the result of the mating with the two-time Group 1 winning star Aston Rupee.

"Three dogs and three bitches," Summers said. "I couldn't be happier.

"I'm over the moon with the result.

"A couple will be for sale but right now the focus is on mum and the puppies having the best possible start to life.

"A bit thank you to Sherrie Turner for the job she did whelping the litter."

Wyndra All Class, the winner of 14 of her 31 starts will be back in action at Wentworth Park on Wednesday night when she contests a Non Graded Stake while Len Me Dad returned from a break last Friday at Goulburn when scoring an emphatic 6-1/2 lengths.
