Harper Delivers Maitland Final KO

THE success being enjoyed by progeny from the Barcia Bale x Little Grey litter continued at Maitland last Thursday with Knockout Hero's resounding victory in the Ladbrokes Pathways Final (450m).

Bursting through the pack to run away and score a decisive victory by 4 ¾ lengths in a sharp 25.13, the Warren and Jill Harper-trained youngster made it back-to-back wins after landing his heat a week earlier.
Knockout Hero is a June 2016 son of Barcia Bale and Little Grey, a litter which includes Finale (2 from 3), On The Bonnet (3 from 8) and Lizzy Keen (4 from 10) who resumes this Thursday at Maitland after going amiss when all over a winner at the circuit in early May.
Little Grey's previous litter to El Grand Senor produced the outstanding El Magnifico and talented Super Senor, whilst her litter sister Bit Sassy has produced gallopers the ilk of Wicked Warrior and Bit Wicked.
