Blue Hornet had held the record at 29.83 set back in February 2023.
The son of Sennachie-Kooringa Maizie streeted a graded field by 12 lengths, leading throughout to down Zipping Slash and kennelmate Barefoot Gypsy.
It is his second track record, having set the Grafton 450m record of 24.98 in August last year.
Simone Kellermeyer owns the dog and her partner John Thompson trains him.

It was his sixth win in 14 starts and he remains unbeaten in two runs at Ipswich.
Winner of the Grafton Maiden Classic last year when prepared by Steve Keep, Barefoot Zulu has been back with Thompson since November.
He has been chasing home Group stars at Warragul and Albion Park in recent starts, but back to graded racing, and now beginning better than he has ever done, he was simply awesome at Ipswich.
With the Ipswich track to soon close following the opening of The Q, it is likely Barefoot Zulu will go down in history as the fastest dog to ever cover the 520 metre journey at the circuit.
