Inaugural ‘The 715' Winner Now A Mum

RETIRED superstar stayer Miss Ezmae has produced her first litter of pups just five months after winning her last race in the first The 715.

INAUGURAL ‘The 715' winner Miss Ezmae is a mum.

The daughter of Barcia Bale and Zagati (ex Solar Pak) whelped a litter of seven dogs and two bitches to Collision at the weekend under the watchful eye of Amanda Ginn.

Winner at 17 of her 28 race starts for prizemoney of $668,090 for trainer Jack Smith, Miss Ezmae was retired in June following her thrilling victory in ‘The 715' at Ladbrokes Gardens.

The $500,000-to-the-winner series had been a long term target for connections and after annexing the race the decision was made to retire the regally bred star to the breeding barn.

And it's taken just five months for the track record breaking Sydney Cup winner to produce her first litter to superstar sire Collision.

With Miss Ezmae's dam Zagati out of Solar Park, the decision to go to Collision in many ways recreates the pedigree which produced Feral Franky and Good Odds Harada, sons of Collision by the champion brood.

Pursuit of these pups have been fierce but it's understood all that were for sale have been snapped up.

Which is hardly surprising.
