THE Richmond Race Club has received a boost in the lead up to November's Richmond Riches Puppy Auction with news major sponsor Ladbrokes has extended its support of the club until 2022.

Unrivaled in their sponsorship of New South Wales greyhound racing, Ladbrokes has signed on the dotted line until the end of 2022 – with a further two year option – and as well as bankrolling the prestigious Richmond Oaks and Richmond Derby  – have also pledged their ongoing support to the Richmond Riches Puppy Auction Series.

A delighted Club President Steve Moran announced the deal on Tuesday.

"Ladbrokes are true friends and supporters of the Richmond Race Club and Greyhound Racing NSW and we couldn't be happier to have them as a corporate partner until the end of 2022," declared Moran.

"Their generous support is not only acknowledged by the Richmond Race Club but also the participants that race at Richmond, who as a result receive benefits they otherwise wouldn't if not for Ladbrokes, including of course the ever-popular Ladbrokes Red Dog Series' which offer such fantastic prizemoney and incentives."

The news begins a big week for Richmond which this Friday night hosts their regional final of the GRNSW/Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase Series, with first and second from the final progressing through to the semi-finals of the $1 million to-the-winner event at Wentworth Park on Friday, October 12.

The Club is also in the process of finalising the catalogue for the Richmond Riches Puppy Auction – the Ladbrokes sponsored event locked in for Sunday, November 25 where some of the best bred pups in Australia are set to go under the hammer.
