Favourite for the rich finale is the John Finn-trained Zipping Kyrgios which has drawn ideally in box one.

A multiple group race winner, Zipping Kyrgios is the one to beat but runs into an all-star cast of middle distance chasers including Victorian stars Jarick Bale and Immunity.

Jarick Bale, runner-up in each of his two Dubbo appearances to progress to the final, is $4.60 in early betting while Immunity, trained by champion mentor Jason Thompson, is at $6.50 following her slick semi-final win last Friday.

And they’re not the only Victorian’s to take their place in the race with the classy Aston Ulysses, a dynamic semi-final winner last Saturday, not without claims either despite drawing precariously in six.

Fastest qualifier for the finale is the Mick Hardman-trained Chase Me Honey but the classy daughter of Fernando Bale will need to overcome a tricky box seven draw to annex the biggest race of her career.

It is a big 12-race card at Dubbo tonight with the first race getting underway at 6.54pm.
