New Direction Keeps On Keeping On

WONDER chaser New Direction landed her 15th career victory at Ladbrokes Gardens on Tuesday night, the veteran galloper quickly closing in on five years of age.

Showing no signs of slowing down despite getting a little long in the tooth, the daughter of Magic Sprite and Bit Isolated continues to be a wonderful money-spinner for owner Tommy Wilson and now-trainer Bev Sloan, in the money at her past five Ladbrokes Gardens assignments.

Making full use of box one on Tuesday night, New Direction grinded out a 2 ¾ length 22.95 success at her 74th race start, having commenced her career at the same track, way back in July 2015.

Given her outstanding record, which includes a Wentworth Park victory in a slick 30.10 way back in March 2016, the daughter of Magic Sprite is no doubt a future stud proposition for connections.
