‘No Backward Steps': Daley A Fan Of Amron Boy Pups
LIKE many breeders, leading Queensland trainer Jemma Daley has learned not to get carried away about the prospects of untried young dogs.

LIKE many greyhound breeders, leading Queensland trainer Jemma Daley has learned not to get carried away about the prospects of untried young dogs.
But she is ready to make an exception for a litter of Amron Boy pups from Where's The Star just starting their education.
The litter turned 12 months in the middle of April and already one of them has gone to Golden View education centre and the report is glowing.
"They chase," Daley said. "There are no backward steps among them."
Daley said the original mating was designed by friend Patrick Daniels.
"Patrick loved Amron Boy when he was racing and suggested the mating to Where's The Star, a bitch by Blazin' Bomber from Gold Ziva," she said.
Where's The Star, winner of five races, is already the dam of a smart litter by Tommy Shelby including Masked Singer (11 wins, $36,000) and Sunny Smiles (8 wins, $29,000).

Jemma said she had spoken to Amron Boy's studmaster Brooke Ennis about the litter and plans to use Amron Boy again.
"I love them," she said of the Amron Boy litter.
"They have perfect natures and everything they are doing they are doing right. And when it comes to food, they are pigs."
She sent one pup to Golden View early for education, and more will go away next week.
"Can't wait to hear their reports," she said.
"The bitches are about 28 kilos and the dogs are from 33 kilos."
Amron Boy Zambora Brockie-Miami Fernando) won 23 races and $674,000 and was the highest class of race dog.
Brendan Wheeler has already raved about the litters of Amron Boy pups the Wheeler family is rearing.
