Queensland Straight Track Star Retired

FOLLOWING a sensational career on the race track winning 25 races, Queensland straight track star Bogie Fury has broken down and been retired.

QUEENSLAND straight track star Bogie Fury has broken down and been retired.

The son of Aston Dee Bee-Bogie Lilly raced 59 times for 32 wins and 17 placings earning $87,000 for breeder and owner, Brisbane Club president Les Bein and trainer Ryan Ayre.

Bogie Fury had been out with a slight injury but Ryan was bringing him back to training.

“He had a slip at Capalaba last Friday but dropped his back muscle,” said Ryan.

“He is such a great chaser, he kept going all the way up the straight.”

Ryan will keep the dog at his home as a pet.

“My son absolutely loves him,” said Ryan.

Bogie Fury won the Anniversary Cup, Capelbourne Cup and Grand Prix up Capalaba where his career best was a scorching 19.36.

He won 25 races up the straight and was also a finalist in the Capalaba Cup, Thunder at Albion Park and the National Straight Track at Richmond.
