HARRY Manolitsis has been around greyhound racing for decades and he has the greatest respect for the training prowess of Kel Greenough.

“Kel and his wife Jacquie are in the top three in the country,” said Harry. “They don't miss.”

Harry clashes with the Greenoughs at The Meadows on Saturday night in a heat of the Group 1 Australian Cup when his star sprinter Revolution (Fernando Bale-Elevated) comes up against wonder bitch, the Greenough's Wow She's Fast, fresh from her win in the Group 1 Temlee last Saturday night.

FIELDS AND FORM THE MEADOWS SATURDAY NIGHT

Revolution has the rails and that gives Harry Manolitis reason to smile, while Wow She's Fast is drawn out in the seven.

“He's a really good dog,” Harry said of Revolution.

“A steady box dog who is not really pinging the lids of late after he hit his head on the lids at The Meadows early in his career.

“But he has an amazing turn of foot once he hits the ground.”

But Manolitsis had a warning for punters expecting Revolution to win the Australian Cup heat.

“He has had no 500 metre runs this time in and he needs a couple of 500 metre runs,” he said.

“But the game is on this week.

“Yes, he will improve greatly from this week's run.

“But, it is a pretty hard race to win the Australian Cup without a 500 metre run and not having won at The Meadows.”

Revolution will head interstate for all the glamour races coming up around the country after the Cup tilt.

“The Easter Egg at Wenty and the Perth Cup at Cannington are his targets,” said Harry.

Dam, Elevated, whose daughter Amplified (a litter sister to Revolution) went so well in the Group 1 Rookie Rebel last week at The Meadows, has just whelped a litter by Aston Rupee.

She had four dogs and three bitches.
