QUEENSLAND racing lost an industry stalwart when Tracy Kunde died on Sunday doing what he loved … racing his greyhounds.

He was at Capalaba where he had Pink Flyer, one of the small tea of dogs he had in training at Morayfield.

It is believed he died of a heart attack.

Tracy had caught a dog in race four, and Pink Flyer was due to start in race six.

He failed to arrive at the kennels and a search of the track grounds found him in his car.

Attempts to revive him failed.

Tracy has been in greyhound racing for decades.

His best dog, Uno Leo, was a Bundaberg specialist winning 30 races back in 2012-13 and making a number of feature race finals.

A fencing contractor for much of his working life, Tracy was devoted to greyhound racing.
