IRISH greyhound breeders are so impressed with Saturday's Richmond Straight Cup winner Shall Not they are anxious to buy semen from the dog as soon as possible.

Shall Not (Barcia Bale-Hillary) took his Richmond record to 23 wins from 25 starts with his win in the Cup for trainer Darren Sultana.

And, watching intently the dog's victory was a host of Ireland's premier dog men all enjoying the Coursing Festival at Clonmel.

In the middle of the group and showing the Cup victory on his mobile phone was Dubbo Club president and premier breeder Shayne Stiff.

Owner Terry Hill said today he had been contacted from Ireland by Shayne with the Irish request for semen for the dog.

“They were all impressed with the dog and especially his straight record,” said Terry.

“And, they want as much semen as they can get from him.”

Hill said he would endeavour to fulfil the request and would not rule out selling or even sending the dog to Ireland such is that country's interest in the straight track superstar.

“That Shayne Stiff is one salesman,” said Terry who has been long-time friends with the Dubbo president.

“But, there is no doubting the dog is impressive.”
