TRIALS re-started on The Q Straight on Saturday morning with the early reports more than glowing about the track and racing surface.

TRIALS re-started on The Q Straight on Saturday morning.
It had been planned to run eight, four-dog trials from the 300m drop in boxes, but this was extended to a higher number with some trials only two dogs.
Matt Heilbronn put four dogs up The Q Straight and was in praise again of the racing surface.
"It poured raining early on Saturday morning, but the trials still went ahead," Heilbronn said.
"The surface on all three racetracks is that good."
Heilbronn believes the 350m start will be superb for future racing.
"I'm not sure what the plans are for further trialling, but I'd expect more next Saturday morning," he added.
"It's a start."
The Q Straight has had teething problems with the lure arm but reports are that these have been fixed.
