WHILE Chris O'Brien celebrated victory in the opening event at Wentworth Park on Saturday night with Blocker Tifia, the Nowra Hill-based trainer admitted to getting just as big a kick out of Good Odds Harada's Bob Payne Sprint success later in the program.

See, like Blocker Tifia, a son of Banjo Boy and Tifia, the Frank Hurst-trained Good Odds Harada – a rampaging winner of the group 3 feature in 29.58 – is a son of Collision and Solar Pak, both dams' daughters of O'Brien's outstanding producer Tifi.

"It's hard to keep a track of it all these days, her tentacles spread that far," declared a proud O'Brien of Tifi, the daughter of Bombastic Shiraz and Chili Berger whelped back in November of 2006.

In all, Tifi produced five litters, her direct progeny winning over 200 races and $600,000 in prizemoney.

Included in that offspring is champion race bitch turned producer Double Twist, along with other successful broods Solar Pak, Glama Pak, Twist Me Over, Tifi For Me, Chasing Diana and Tifia – just to name a few.

The family's ongoing success is profound.

Solar Pak's two litters to Collision (2015) and Fernando Bale (2017) have so far won 156 races and $650,000 in prizemoney.

Her progeny includes Bob Payne Sprint winner Good Odds Harada and Ladies Bracelet third placegetter Good Odds Meghan.

At Richmond on Friday night, another from the litter, Feral Franky, winner of the Group 3 New Sensation at Wentworth Park on Easter Saturday, landed a heat of the Richmond Riches in a flying 30.58.

And while the Fernando Bale litter is doing great things, her first litter to Collision produced the likes of Little Digger (25 wins), Nino De Oro (15 wins), Zagati (12 wins) … the list goes on.

While Double Twist's performances on the track for Garry Edwards have been well documented, the NSW Greyhound of The Year has been a successful producer as well, her progeny headed by Group 1 winner Mister Twister.

In all, Double Twist's offspring have won over 100 races and almost $600,000 in stakes, with her fourth and most recent litter, to Black Magic Opal, 15 months old.

With Tifi For Me and Twist Me Over producing some quality types early on as broods, Chasing Diana, from Tifi's 2010 litter to Collision, has produced outstanding gallopers Black Hole Son (25 wins) and Pedro Cerrano (20 wins), while her litter-sister Tifia is responsible for Saturday night Wentworth Park winner Blocker Tifia and Banjo Tifia (by Banjo Boy).

Her first litter to Where's Pedro produced 24 race winner Bulkender and Maya Herrera (14 wins).

Tifi – a daughter of Bombastic Shiraz and John Tyrrell's top producer Chili Berger, (ex-Alice Dooley)  – has cemented herself one of the most influential broods of her generation.

Her results, both direct and indirect, speak for themselves.
