FIELDS AND FORM WENTWORTH PARK SATURDAY NIGHT

Best Bets

RACE 4 Number 5 TRUNKEY ROSE

Hugely talented sprinter boasting 11 wins from 20 starts including a fast 26.29 non-grade win last time out at Bulli.

Runs into a very winnable race here and like the middle draw also. What I like even more is likely leader Sizzle Fly drawn to her inside which should provide her plenty of track to work with.

If she's in the mix down the back should prove far too classy.

Race 7 Number 1 – SOUND OF SILENCE

Six starts from box one for four wins which is of no surprise given his racing style. Better known over the middle distances but dropping back to 520m here with the benefit of box one has me really keen on his chances.

There's a few engaged here that are suspect at the end of 520m which should give him every chance of finishing over the top of them.

Just needs to hold his spot early to be in the finish.

Race 10 Number 1 – KID CANDLE

Had his share of problems since winning the Gosford Cup at the start of 2020 but providing he's anywhere near right for this Masters assignment should be too classy.

And with box one to boot – he should take a power of beating given his glowing record at the track and distance.

Steps out for the first time since last October where he was racing far superior opposition to what he greets here.

Best Value

Race 1 Number 8 FAB TWO TIMES

Quality race to start the night with three key winning hopes Masika, Good Odds Cash and our tip, Fab Two Times.

He's had seven WPK starts for just the one third which is a cause for concern but he can handle the draw and ran the race of his career when second to Zipping Conway in flying time at Bulli Tuesday.

Far better dog than his city record suggests and gets a bit in his corner tonight.
