Bulli Bound Tulsi Banner Doing Blue Moon Proud
GROUP 1 winner Tulsi Banner, fresh off her record breaking heroics at Richmond last weekend, tackles the heats of the Bulli Cup as one of the top contenders.

GROUP 1 winner Tulsi Banner, fresh off her record breaking heroics at Richmond last weekend, tackles Sunday's heats of the Group 2 Bulli Gold Cup (472m) as one of the top series contenders.
The 15-time winner (from just 25 starts) has quickly become the flagbearer for underrated and underutilised sire Blue Moon Rising who is kicking goals left, right and centre from limited opportunities
In fact, the regally bred son of Fernando Bale and Chica Destacada just recently surpassed another milestone, racing past 500 winners at his stud career to date.
Tulsi Banner has been installed a $3.50 equal favourite for her Bulli Gold Cup heat on Sunday where she tackles up and coming star Slick Badger and Maitland-Gosford Cup placegetter Chief Lightning.
The gifted daughter of Blue Moon Rising goes into the series following her slashing 22.33 track record run at Richmond last Sunday, the Peter Mosman Opal winner's first hitout since mid-December after coming on season.

"We kept her very fresh with just work up the straight track for the run at Richmond," said trainer Barry Gibbons Junior of Tulsi Banner's return to racing.
"We are expecting her to be in the best form of her career during this campaign.

"She like Bulli.
"But, you can expect her to run 29.40 around Wentworth Park when she goes back there."
The decision by the Gibbons' to put their faith in Blue Moon Rising as a sire has paid top dividends.
Tulsi Banner's litter overall has won an amazing 71 races from 181 starts at the remarkable win strike-rate of 40 per cent.
That includes multiple city winners, exhibiting the strength and tenacity of their dual group 1 winning sire.
It's why breeders that have supported Blue Moon Rising are returning, tapping into the Chica Destacada family that continues to dominate and influence the Australian racing scene.
