Unbeaten Juvenile A Star On The Rise

CARRY On Star will look to continue on her winning way when she steps out in the Topcat Video series at The Meadows on Wednesday afternoon.

IMPRESSIVE juvenile Carry On Star will look to continue the superlative start to her career when she steps out in heat two of the Topcat Video series (525m) at The Meadows on Wednesday afternoon.

Trained by Tim Britton, Carry On Star has enjoyed a faultless start to her career, going through the $12,000 to-the-winner GRV Vic Bred Maiden Series (525m) undefeated with three dominant victories.

"She's very professional and would chase anything – you'd love 100 like her," Britton enthused.

"You've seen from her wins so far she handles anything thrown her way and I'd be surprised if she doesn't win again on Wednesday from box two with the vacant draw outside her."

Carry On Star, a daughter of Mepunga Blazer, has already pocketed connections a cool $18,000 courtesy of her three wins which culminated in Saturday night's emphatic 30.32 maiden final victory at The Meadows.

And while the hugely promising Carry On Star prevailed as the winner, littermates Carry On Maxwell, Carry On Liam and Colden Express finished third, fourth and sixth respectively.

"It's a very good litter," Britton said.

"Some are a little greener than others but their best attribute is they'd chase through a brick wall. There's not a great deal between them ability wise but from the start Carry On Star has shown she was a step ahead of the rest.

“She's pretty exciting.”

Britton has five of the litter engaged at The Meadows this Wednesday, led by Carry On Star, which goes around in race six from box two.

"I give them all good chances; I think Carry On Liam will be hard to beat in race one," Britton offered.

"He's been trialling as quick as Carry On Star and I think box eight will suit him on Wednesday.

"He's been getting wide in his races so with the space early from out there in the small field should suit."

Britton is also represented by Colden Express (race 2, box 8), Merry Lass (race 3, box 5) and Carry On Angel (race 5, box 4) on what could prove a successful day for the kennel.

"I'm happy with them all and they are on the way up," Britton offered.
