Kilbriens Gill (trap 3) may only be able to muster enough of a challenge to take out third.

A podium finish should be something of a formality for KNOCK SKA (trap 5) against these and he may not need too much to happen to get the job done. GLENFINN GALE (trap 6) is obviously the one they all have to beat and it should be a case of all aboard the skylark if she gets the run of the race. Derra Viva (trap 2) needs to avoid forming the meat in the sandwich as drawn but has a chance on form. De Last Straw (trap 4) is certainly capable of being around when push comes to shove.

SLANEYSIDE NED (trap 1) could be well in against these and, while the odds on reward may temper enthusiasm to some extent, he is the obvious call. If Slaneyside Talty (trap 6) ran up to her best she would probably get the job done, so she is rightly feared. Providing Tooblinktoomiss (trap 3) avoids an initial whack, she will have a part to play.

There's plenty of clues on the form card to suggest BOHERASH SANDY (trap 6) can do the business against these rivals and she looks the play. Prince Harvey (trap 2) is expected to be in the mix when it comes to the line and could provide the forecast. Cluain Wildcat (trap 3) shouldn't be too far away when the prizes are awarded.

The claims of WAGGA STYLISH (trap 2) in this contest are as clear as the nose on your face and she should be the first to greet the judge. Wagga Chloe (trap 1) is no mug and won't need any second invitation if the selection fluffs things up.
