Wow She's Fast Produces Litter Of Nine

THE most eagerly anticipated litter of 2024 has arrived safe and sound with former champion sprinter Wow She's Fast producing her first litter of nine pups to Bella Infrared on Sunday.

Wow She's Fast, which banked a world record prizemoney tally of $2,491,995 in her stellar 20 wins from 35-start career, whelped three dogs and six bitches to the US sire.

"The bitch (Wow She's Fast) took everything in her stride," said Kel Greenough, who trained the dual Phoenix heroine in partnership with wife Jackie.

"She handled it beautifully and everything went perfectly.

"Michelle Nolan whelped the litter and did a fantastic job.

"We just wanted to give it a couple of days to make sure everything was okay before we announced anything. 

"Jackie just went and visited them this afternoon and they're all going great."

With Wow She's Fast, a daughter of My Bro Fabio and Fair Of Face, producing a bumper first litter, her owners Greg Sprod and Tyrone Whittington may be tempted by the offers that have already been flooding in.

"I'm not entirely sure what they (Sprod and Whittington) are thinking," Greenough said.

"They're in two minds.

"They don't normally sell their pups, but they've had a fair bit of interest in these and having that many bitches they may consider it."
